The Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Bihar (RERA–Bihar), on November 16, 2025, has issued a directive revising the prescribed format for submission of details by promoters regarding their financial worth as required under sub-regulation (a) of Regulation 13. Earlier, the notification dated July 23, 2025, mandated that promoters must demonstrate financial worth not less than 10% of the estimated development cost of the project by submitting complete details of immovable properties owned by the promoter entity, its directors, or partners, along with their respective liabilities through an affidavit.
The Authority has now partially amended the prescribed format concerning the disclosure of liabilities. As per the revised order, promoters are now required to furnish liability details only in relation to the immovable properties declared, instead of all liabilities in general. This amendment aims to simplify the compliance process and ensure relevance of financial disclosures strictly tied to project assets.
The revised format takes immediate effect and will apply to all ongoing and future applications submitted to the Authority. The modification has been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority to ensure clarity and uniformity in financial reporting by real estate promoters under RERA–Bihar.
